Karl Hermann Bitter

Karl Hermann Bitter was a Prussian statesman and served as the Prussian plenipotentiary on the European Commission of the Danube (ECD) from 1856 until 1860. He started his political career in 1833, having studied Law in Berlin and Bonn. In 1846, Bitter entered the Frankfurter Regierungsrat. After his service to the ECD, he again took up his political career in Prussia. In 1877, he became Undersecretary of State for Bismarck.
